hometown is Calgary, AB but I was born and raised in
Vancouver, BC. We moved to Calgary in 1997. I was a stay at home Mom for over 6 years to 6 1/2 year old Taylor and 3 year old Jaiden until I went back to work part-time as a CSR and I have been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator for 2 1/2 years now. My husband Bill and I have been married for 8 years. Like most people we lead a very busy life!
Stampin' Up! is a wonderful company to be a part of. Cardmaking, Scrapbooking and Papercrafts is a hobby that I have become very passionate about. Each morning when I sit at my computer and visit my favorite websites and blogs I can't help but become very excited and passionate about what people are creating all over the World, it's a great way to start my day.

Tags are one of the innovative trends in scrapbooking! There are so many kinds of tags that can be used to enhance any and every aspect of a layout! Tag along with us and we’ll explore the possibilities together!
TYPES OF TAGS
There are many types of tags, most of which can be found at your local scrapbooking supply store. Styles include:
Round Tags – Have silver metal rims and strings for ties.
Shipping Tags –Most have angled or round corners, but some are perfectly square. These tags are available in a variety of colors.
Scalloped Tags – Have scalloped corners and usually come with string ties.
Wooden Tags – Thin strips of wood (cedar, aspen, maple, & cherry) with angled corners.
Handmade Tags – This is where your creativity comes in! You can make tags any shape, any size you want…use your imagination!
If you are going to add ties to tags, they may need reinforcements. Most pre-made tags come with reinforcements, but for handmade tags, here are some great reinforcement ideas…
Make your own reinforcements by using cardstock and a small circle punch. Punch a smaller hole in the center of the circle and then attach it to your tag and add a tie. (Most small punched shapes will also work.)
Use buttons or eyelets.
TIES FOR TAGS
Some tags come with ties, but if not, you’ll need to add your own! Here are some ideas for creative ties…
